I'm back..
So long since i wrote my blog.. haha, thinking whether should i close it anot. Hasnt been actively updating it but once in a time must log in and write something. ( i scared i will forget the password.. haha)Just submitted my neural project.. Super thanks to my partner who did a great job. Now left only 2 more projects, 1 econs and the cryptography assignment. This semester , i seem rather slow in the preparation for the exams. Can feel the stress and tension when i'm in the library already. Left 20 days to first paper, i still quite lazy.. argh.. dunno what i'm doing la..
Recently jus went JB , something like a short getaway trip. We went there around 6plus, having trapped in a jam along woodlands for nearly 45 mins. But surprisingly, the custom queue was so short compared to the last visit. That time, we queued up for nearly 1 and a half hour, sweating and pespiring. It was really a tiring experience ..
As usual, we headed to Holiday Inn for shopping spree. Bought some personal and food stuffs. The things there are half priced of what singapore is selling and some people do not mind the trouble of crossing over the causeway just to purchase some daily products.
At about 8plus, we went to have seafood dinner at the Da ma hua yuan. Dinner was free and fully sponsored by zq. Too bad kc has to work on saturday as he will definitely miss the fun and the food.
Pool session.. Hasnt been playing regularly since most of my kakis are working. Its like once a week or alternate wks, but i guess pool is a skill that someone cannot simply forget. Surprisingly, we can still win a few rounds having to play so little.. same goes to twee, kenny n

Race Against Time
What is fyp all about? Final Year Project or Find Your Partner.. Haha, dunno le. One thing that i know is that its so time consuming that i have no time to revise my work or do my tutorials. Though its a interesting project, ..... there's always times that will cause headache. Sorry for the nagging, but just realise that there is not enough time. Need someone to enlighten me, getting stuck onto a problem already.Back to work. Jia You!

Slow Update
Back for some update! Not blogging for quite a while already.. I havent got the time to really update my adventure in Japan, i'm just too busy with everything. Well, i guess i jus too lazy to upload the pictures. Its really takes a lot of time as i have to resize then upload. Maybe i can get somebody to do it for me, haha..Guess probably needs 1-2 mths more to get everything done.. Haha.. right now still doin day3, still have 8 more days to cover.(My friends are chasing me already)
A lot of things to do this year such as labs and FYP. Coping with school work and FYP are a great challenge. It's not easy. As for my FYP, i gonna come out with a super controller which can control diabetes. Suddenly becoming a medical person and understand all the biology terms, i should have taken up life science last time . My project is difficult because i have to derive all the equations (1st order, 2nd order deriative n more). I havent been touching them for a while but no choice have to make it happen. Ganbette. Day 5: Nagoya and Kobe
It's day five , near to the half of our trip. Must enjoy the utmost throughout the Japan trip. As for Nagoya and Kobe, kc and i planned that quite last minute. Our schedule was quite packed so we decided to squeeze this two places in one day. Morning half in nagoya and later half at kobe.Morning 9am 1st july
We headed for Nagoya, the capital of Aichi Prefecture which is located in the heart of central Japan. Historiacally, Nagoya used to be a typical castletown of feudal Japan built in the 16th century. Took about 45 mins to reach from Kyoto( where we stayed) to Nagoya by Shinkansen.

Taken when we were on the bullet train. Beautiful Scenery!
Nagoya CastleUpon reaching Nagoya station, it took us 10 mins to walk from the station to the Nagoya Castle.
It was constructed to secure an important position and to ward off attacks from the direction of Osaka.

Gollden Dolphin or Kinshachi. It's a symbol of the feudal lord's authority.

Near Nagoya Station. Symbol for the Aichi Expo. Here comes the bullet train!!
Afternoon 230pm
We set off to Kobe, the capital of Hyogo Prefecture, the foremost international port city in western Japan. Rainy days as usual, but that did not hinder us from fowarding.
The famous Kobe port and ferris wheelHarbor Land where many shops and resturants are located there. There is a big ferris wheel
from where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the Kobe port and the ocean, especially at night.
Kc and i posing under the rain

Kobe chicken Kobe beef
And of course, we wouldnt forget to try the famous 'kobe beef'. Actually we came here just to try it. Haha, as for some of us including me who can't eat beef, theres always 'kobe chicken' for us. Quite surprisingly, when we were going to pay for our bills, the waitress actually spoke mandarin to us. Haha, its so difficult to find somebody who can speak mandarin in Japan.

On the left of the picture is the mosaic, a shopping and amusement complex located along the seaside. The night scenery is so nice, so much different from the day.

Day 4: Universal Studios
Early in the morning, we headed to our first destination, Universal Studios, Osaka.Took the train at Kyoto station.

At the station. You can feel the morning rush during the peak hour.

Universal Studios Hard Rock Cafe
Approached by 3 koreans to take a pic for them. Haha, simply cant reject any request. Since they are quite friendly, we requested to take a group photo. Its good to know more friends!

Snoopy and charlie SpiderMan in action!
Japanese gals are so trendy. A slight change in dress sense can simply start a trend. Quite creative in a way.
Back to the future!
Not sure what character is this.. Just find it cute!Watching a performance by Snoopy and friends. Even their tone are exactly the same as the English version, except for the part that they are speaking japanese.

The Universal Studio train that we boardedSayonara to Universal Studios!

Day 3: Sightseeing At Kyoto
Our favorite ryokan - It's so comfortable inside.. The people are nice, the service is good except that we have to walk downstairs to take a shower.. Haha, i think tats the only minus point.
Stay at the ryokan. Mattress are tidied so neatly. Arigato gozaimasu!

Walking towards the Imperial Palace, Kyoto. The weather over there was quite bad, had been raining since morning. Look at our umbrellas, u cant find them easily in Singapore, even carrying an umbrella can be a trend.

Imperial Palace

My buddies Our friendly tour guide. She spoke english throughout the tour and i'm quite impressed with her. Her english is quite good lo, maybe better than us.
